Counselors meet with a referred student and his/her guardian(s) to gather information regarding the student as well as to discuss the Student Handbook and expectations at Lincoln School. The student and parent must be present at the intake.  Counselors also address or assess other needs a student may have and answer student and parent questions. Students are then given a “start date” which is typically 1-3 days after the initial intake. The intake process usually takes about 1 hour.  This includes filling out necessary documentation, meeting with the counselor, and a tour of the program if needed or requested.
